Many thanks<\/span><\/h2>

The 4th FINEness International Art Festival<\/span> became a space of intense encounters \u2013 between art, people, and ideas. A program filled with workshops, performative actions, and conversations created a living structure in which the creative process transformed into a shared experience. It is within this energy that this year\u2019s motto resonates most fully \u2013 *where matter becomes emotion<\/span>*.
\nA particularly meaningful role was played by the audience. Their attentiveness, sensitivity, and openness gave depth to these activities, shaping a space of authentic dialogue. FINEness is a multicultural event \u2013 a meeting point of diverse artistic languages, experiences, and perspectives that intertwine and create new value.
\nThis edition was made possible through the engagement of institutions and individuals who form the foundation of the festival. The Director of Zabytkowa Kopalnia Ignacy<\/span>, Marek Go\u0142osz<\/span>, together with his team<\/span>, created a space open to art and internationally oriented creative actions. Aleksandra Matuszczyk<\/span>, Director of the Emil Drobny Museum in Rybnik<\/span> and Edukatorium Juliusz<\/span>, together with her team<\/span>, brought an essential educational and reflective dimension, expanding the context of experiencing art.
\nThe presence of partners and supporting environments \u2013 Marina Art<\/span> and the educational partner SEI School of Innovative Education in Wodzis\u0142aw \u015al\u0105ski<\/span> \u2013 strengthened the relationship between art and education. The support of artistic brands: Renesans,<\/span> Roman Szmal Art,<\/span> Gamma,<\/span> Colourstock,<\/span> Escoda<\/span>, and Museo<\/span> directly contributed to the quality of workshops and creative activities.
\nAn important part of the program were also curatorial and community-driven initiatives \u2013 the coordination of the Urban Sketchers<\/span> group by Izabela Szewc\u00f3w<\/span> and the curatorial care of the Young Talents<\/span> section by Anna Bentkowska<\/span>, both bringing freshness and authenticity to the festival.
\nThe festival continues to grow in close connection with the city. The support of the City of Rybnik<\/span> and the presence of Deputy Mayor Arkadiusz Marcol<\/span> during the awards ceremony highlight the importance of culture as a vital element of local identity and its international dialogue.
\nFour editions now form a coherent narrative of the development of an idea that consistently connects artistic communities from around the world. The next edition \u2013 a symbolic fifth, anniversary edition \u2013 will be a natural continuation of this journey.

The FINEness International Art Festival<\/span> is a unique cultural event that, since its very beginning, has created a space for encounters between art and architecture, between tradition and modernity, between artists and audiences from all over the world.<\/span><\/p>

In 2026, the festival returns for its fourth edition<\/span> and once again transforms the Ignacy Historic Mine<\/span> in Rybnik into a pulsating center of international artistic dialogue.<\/span><\/p>

This year\u2019s theme \u2013 \u201cEcho of Form<\/span>\u201d \u2013 highlights the resonance between structure and emotion, geometry and imagination, history and the present moment<\/span>. The industrial heritage of the mine is no longer just a backdrop but a living protagonist<\/span> of the festival\u2019s artistic narrative.<\/p><\/div>

Participation Fee<\/span>
\nPayment applies only if the work is selected for the exhibition:
\n \u2022 IWS members: 70 EUR
\n \u2022 Non-members: 100 EUR
\n \u2022 Country leaders submitting at least 5 artists: free of charge

Shipping of Originals<\/span>
\n \u2022 Originals must be shipped only after selection and payment of the participation fee.
\n \u2022 Only EMS (Express Mail Service) shipments are accepted.
\n \u2022 Each painting must be accompanied by the official entry form (provided after selection).
\n \u2022 The artist is responsible for safe packaging. The organizer cannot be held responsible for damages during transport.
\n \u2022 All customs duties or legal charges resulting from incorrect declaration of value are the full responsibility of the artist. If a value other than the one indicated in the shipping instructions is declared, the artist assumes all financial responsibility.

Evaluation Criteria<\/span>
\nThe jury will evaluate works based on:
\n \u2022 interpretation of the theme Where matter becomes emotion,
\n \u2022 originality and innovation,
\n \u2022 technical quality,
\n \u2022 emotional impact,
\n \u2022 compositional and aesthetic coherence.
\n\n
Awards<\/span>
\n \u2022 1st, 2nd and 3rd Prizes \u2013 artistic awards and certificates.
\n \u2022 Additional sponsor awards and special mentions.
\n \u2022 All selected works will be published in the festival catalogue and exhibited at the Ignacy Historic Mine.
\n \u2022 Prizes are non-exchangeable \u2013 no cash alternatives.

Copyright & Reproduction<\/span>
\n \u2022 The artist retains full copyright of their work.
\n \u2022 By entering the competition, the artist grants the organizers the right to reproduce submitted images for promotional purposes (catalogue, website, social media, press).
\n \u2022 Works remain the property of the artist; any sale must take place directly between the artist and the buyer.
